Huawei released the 2023 version of one of its most successful tablets a few weeks ago: the Huawei MatePad 11. There has yet to be a revolution in design, just a revamp. The only version available in Italy at the moment is the standard one, while the ” Soft Edition ” version is still missing (and it is not known if it will arrive) equipped with a slight processor (the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870), more memory (8GB of RAM and 128 /256 GB of storage) and an anti-glare display more suitable for reading ebooks.
Huawei’s MatePad series of tablets has been very well received by users, including in Italy, and has performed well in sales in recent years, despite the fierce competition in the market. Therefore, it is unsurprising that Huawei re-proposes a product that follows the line of its predecessor, with much more storage (the previous model stopped at 64 GB, a cut that is not feasible today). Given the technical characteristics, Huawei MatePad 11 is now available in Italy at a more than correct price.
Huawei MatePad 11: Technical Characteristics
The SoC chosen for the Huawei MatePad 11 2023 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 combined with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The LCD measures 11 inches, has a 2K resolution (2,560×1,600 pixels), and a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the back is a 13 MP (f/1.8) rear camera, while in front, in the center of one of the two long sides of the frame, there is an 8 MP (f/2.0) sensor for selfies and video calls.
The audio compartment comprises four Huawei Histen 8.0 optimized speakers, and there is also background noise cancellation with a proprietary algorithm, which ensures that our voice is clear during a video call.
Regarding connections, the LTE version with telephone SIM is unavailable: you can connect to the internet only via WiFi6. Bluetooth is available in version 5.1.
According to the manufacturer’s specifications, the battery has a capacity of 7,250 mAh, which ensures 16 hours of video viewing. Charging is 22.5W.

Huawei Matepad 11 2023 has arrived in Italy and is already available on the company’s official website for 399 euros, and for those who can buy it quickly, the M-Pencil 2 is free. However, you will have to wait until the end of June to buy the additional keyboard.
