Oppo And Vivo Will Launch Two High-End Tablets

The Pandemic Has Given New Luster To The Android Tablet Segment, In Which Vivo And Oppo Should Also Soon Enter With Two High-Performance Tablets

Before the arrival of Realme Pad, the BBK Electronics group did not even have a tablet on the price list. A curious lack because the brands owned are many and “heavy”: Oppo, OnePlus, Realme and Vivo. Then the Realme product, which has also arrived in Italy, has filled the gap in the range.

But there would be other news in the pipeline, not from Realme as from the other brands that populate the orbit of the BBK group. According to rumors, both Vivo and Oppo would be ready to launch two high-end Android tablets to attend a segment to which the pandemic seems to have given a second youth. In the past, the arrival of a Vivo-branded tablet seemed to be set for January 2021, but history tells us that it didn’t happen. A few months later, in August, the vice president of Vivo confirmed the project but said that it would arrive on the market in the first half of 2022, which is why the rumors are already active.

Vivo Pad, How It Is Made

According to the information shared by the Chinese whistleblower Digital Chat Station, Vivo has finalized the project of an Android tablet equipped with the Snapdragon 870, a high-performance Qualcomm chip that also characterizes the excellent Xiaomi Pad 5.

Vivo’s tablet could be called Vivo Pad. Still, it is a hypothesis that at the moment is not supported by any precise indication, other than by the registration of the trademark at the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), which took place in the summer. On the TUV Rheinland portal, on the other hand, a Vivo device with an 8,040 mAh battery was caught, which being far too many for a smartphone, it is thought to concern the Vivo Pad.

For the rest, there are no other rumors about the Vivo tablet. Still, it cannot exclude that it may resume some features of the recent Realme Pad: the synergies between members of the same group are fundamental, especially in a moment like this which is made particularly difficult since the chip crisis, so if the Realme and Vivo tablets had some common characteristics, it would not be surprising.

Oppo Pad, How It Is Made

They could share several Vivo Pads and the tablet that Oppo is rumored to have in the pipeline. Vivo and Oppo make products that are rather similar in terms of market positioning, while Realme traditionally focuses more on the value for money. It is, therefore, easier to imagine synergies between Oppo and Vivo rather than between the latter and Realme.

According to the latest rumors, the Oppo tablet will be the Snapdragon 870 with 6 GB of memory RAM and 256 GB of storage space. However, this configuration could be one of several that will arrive in the catalog. High-end screen for the Oppo tablet, an 11-inch diagonal LCD with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and above all a refresh rate of 120 Hz

What is currently known as Oppo Pad should have a camera rear 13MP, a front 8 MP, and a battery of 8,080 mAh, for a price that China expected to reach the equivalent of around 300 Euros.
